Preview DOP is an initiative created by the Foundation Qualivita in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry – aimed at journalists, restaurateurs and industry players – to raise awareness of the new Italiangeographical indications , who have just been awarded by the Community with aPDO PGI and TSG protection.Today, Italy can count on 246 PDOs-PGIs names of food products and 521 winenames registered in the EU of which 7 issued during the current year: Uva diPuglia IGP, Squacquerone di Romagna DOP Nostrano Valtrompia DOP, Cinta Senese DOP, Plum of Dro DOP, Limone di Rocca Imperiale IGP, Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Vulture.
